hairs new emphasis is in natural waves and texture as long as it looks healthy, often helped by soft natural looking colors or even extensions for thin hair to look fuller not necessarilly to add length.

actually, anything but that god awful look where it's short hair, and they use gel to make the back stick straight out. that is so f'n ugly. i punch girls with hair like that.
The rebonded look is so been there, done that. So is the permed look. You should go for short and sleek now. No one has that so you can bring on the trend!
You can never go wrong with layers, whether your hair is long, short or in between. A little color really makes the cut POP!!!

For the past I would say, 2-3 years, its been that straight flat-ironed look. Now I'm noticing the same thing but with waves or light curls on the bottom.
